Esta fábula nos narra la historia de cuatro coquíes que son removidos de su hábitat y obligados a trabajar como atracción en varios circos. El autor nos muestra a través de estos coquíes una historia similar a lo que ha sido la historia de Puerto Rico a través de los años. En esta historia, los coquíes deben luchar por sobrevivir en un nuevo ambiente donde salen a relucir sus diferencias ideológicas, sus diferentes estilos de vida, sus defectos y virtudes.

This fable tells the story of four coquís removed from their habitat and forced to work as an attraction at several circuses. The author shows us through these coquís a history similar to what has been the history of Puerto Rico through the years. In this story, the coquís must struggle to survive in a new environment which brings to light their ideological differences, different lifestyles, their strengths and weaknesses.
